Who This Is For
Ideal Apprentices
You do not need to be a programmer. We’re looking for:
- Builders, creatives, organizers, community leaders
- People excited about AI, but unsure where to start
- Those serious about Black wealth, ownership, and legacy
- High initiative, coachable, reliable (“show up” people)
What You’ll Learn
- How to use AI tools to research, write, brainstorm, and create offers
- Prompt engineering for content, funnels, and campaigns
- Basic tracking: links, clicks, engagement, and simple analytics
- How AI ties into tokens, rewards, and long-term community value
Accessibility: Our long-term vision is to make the Apprenticeship tuition-free or low-cost, funded by Program Sponsors and partners — so cost
never blocks talent.
How The Apprenticeship Works
1
Orientation & Onboarding
You’ll be introduced to Black Mall of America, Black Mall Tokens (BMT), the
AI Club, and our 20-year roadmap. We’ll help you set up basic tools and
accounts so you can work comfortably.
2
Core Skills: Prompts, Funnels & Flows
You learn how to use AI to brainstorm ideas, write scripts, create content,
and build simple funnels that drive people to key pages like Content-Summary.html and the AI Club overview.
3
Real Projects · Real Stakes
Apprentices work in small teams on live campaigns:
promoting tokens, inviting new partners, helping test Black Game Show
challenges, and supporting Tokenize Your Legacy awareness.
4
Earn While You Learn
We explore ways for Apprentices to earn Black Mall Tokens (BMT) for
measurable, documented work — such as content created, traffic driven, or
partners activated (pilot programs; subject to updates and regulations).
5
Graduation & Next Steps
Successful Apprentices are invited to return as mentors, project leads,
or trainers — helping the next wave while potentially earning ongoing
recognition and rewards.
Schedule & Location
Our initial chapter is based in Menlo Park, California, with a
blend of in-person labs and remote-friendly work sessions.
- Duration: 6-month cohorts
- Weekly cadence: 2 sessions per week · 2 hours each
- Format: Live instruction, hands-on build time, and homework
- Tools: AI assistants, prompt libraries, internal checklists
Over time, our goal is to replicate this model in other cities and HBCU-adjacent
communities — powered by Black Mall Tokens, sponsors, and partner programs.
How Apprentices Earn Tokens
Black Mall Tokens (BMT) are designed as the native reward engine across the
ecosystem. Subject to applicable rules and regulations, we plan to reward
Apprentices for real contributions, not hype:
- Helping publish and share content that drives traffic to key pages
- Recruiting new qualified Apprentices, mentors, or partners
- Supporting pilots for Black Game Show Startup and related shows
- Assisting with documentation, FAQs, and internal process playbooks
Note: Token rewards are educational and experimental in early phases
and are not a guarantee of income, employment, or financial return. We
are committed to transparency and compliance as the ecosystem grows.
How To Apply
We keep the application process simple but serious. To be considered for an
upcoming cohort:
- Start by joining the AI Club email list
- Complete the short Apprenticeship interest form (coming soon)
- Answer a few questions about your goals and availability
- Share 1–2 paragraphs on why this matters to you and your community
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be “good with computers”?
No. If you can follow simple instructions, type, and are willing to learn,
we can work with you. Curiosity and reliability matter more than technical
background.
Is this a job or guaranteed employment?
No. This is a training and work-study style Apprenticeship. Our goal is to
prepare you for future roles, ventures, and opportunities — inside and
outside Black Mall of America. Any paid roles will be clearly announced
and separate from the Apprenticeship itself.
How much does it cost?
Our vision is to keep this program as affordable as possible and eventually
scholarship-driven, supported by Program Sponsors. Exact tuition, if any,
may vary by cohort and will always be stated clearly before you commit.
Can I participate remotely?
We are designing the program so that core content and projects can be
accessed online, even while we pilot in-person labs in Menlo Park.
Over time, we aim to support more fully remote paths.
